Identity
Worth that is not recalculated with every performance.
When identity is tied to output or approval, every ordinary setback becomes an existential one. That is exhausting, and it makes boundaries nearly impossible to hold.
Ruach works from a stable premise: your value is not a variable in the equation. What changes is your behavior, your skill, and your capacity — all of which can be worked on without your worth being at stake.
This matters practically. A person who does not have to earn their standing can hear feedback, admit error, decline a request, and disappoint someone without collapsing.

Scripture
Quoted verbatim (King James Version, public domain). The notes beneath each passage are Ruach's educational commentary, not Scripture.
The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.
Ruach context: a proverb contrasting two sources of security — human approval and trust in God.
Ruach application: the image is a trap, not a sin list. Approval-seeking narrows your options until you feel you have none.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
Ruach context: a psalm about being fully known by God, written as personal address rather than doctrine.
Ruach application: if worth is given rather than earned, a disappointed person is uncomfortable but not dangerous.
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Ruach context: the conclusion of a long argument about failure, law, and the inability to fix oneself by effort.
Ruach application: the sentence removes the verdict, not the responsibility.
And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath.
Ruach context: said during a dispute about rule-keeping, in defence of people who were hungry.
Ruach application: rest is framed as something made for your benefit, not another standard to fail.
