Humility
An accurate view of yourself — neither inflated nor diminished.
Humility is often mistaken for self-deprecation. Self-deprecation is still self-focus. Humility is simply accuracy, which makes it unusually restful.
Ruach links humility to discernment: it is difficult to hear anything true while defending an image.

Scripture
Quoted verbatim (King James Version, public domain). The notes beneath each passage are Ruach's educational commentary, not Scripture.
If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
Ruach context: part of a passage of practical instruction to a mixed community with real internal friction.
Ruach application: the phrase 'as much as lieth in you' sets a limit. You are responsible for your side of the repair, not for guaranteeing the outcome.
Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
Ruach context: a proverb using metalwork imagery, where friction is part of the process rather than a sign of failure.
Ruach application: closeness produces friction. A relationship with no friction is often a relationship where someone has stopped being honest.
Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
Ruach context: an appeal for unity in a community where status competition was causing division.
Ruach application: the instruction addresses motive — strife and vainglory — rather than requiring you to hold a false view of your own worth.
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Ruach context: a prophetic summary given in a legal-style dispute about what is actually being asked of the people.
Ruach application: humility appears alongside justice here. It does not mean tolerating injustice or refusing to name what is true.
Ruach studies
Each study moves through state, Scripture, reflection, regulation, and response.
Repair, not perfection
Most relationships are not held together by never rupturing. They are held together by repairing well.
