Privacy Policy

I AM Resonance ("we," "us," "our") is built on a privacy-first architecture. Your voice, heart-rate variability (HRV), and reflections are among the most personal data you can share. This policy explains what we collect, why, how it is stored, and the rights you have over it.
1. Information We Collect
Account data. Name, email, and authentication credentials you provide at sign-up.
Voice data. Short voice samples you submit for HRV and prosodic analysis. Processed to derive nervous-system signals; raw audio is not used to train third-party models.
HRV and biosignal data. Derived metrics from voice analysis and, when you connect a wearable, heart-rate and HRV time-series.
Reflection content. Journal entries, mood tags, and session notes you choose to save.
Device and usage data. App version, device type, coarse timestamps, and non-identifying diagnostics.
2. How We Use Your Data
To provide the core service: measuring nervous-system state, generating personalized regulation practices, and tracking your progress over time.
To improve accuracy of our voice-to-HRV models using aggregated, de-identified signals — never raw audio tied to your identity.
To communicate service updates and, only with your explicit opt-in, product news.
3. What We Do Not Do
We do not sell your data. We do not share individual voice recordings, HRV traces, or reflections with advertisers, data brokers, employers, insurers, or third-party AI training pipelines.
4. Storage & Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is scoped through role-based controls, and voice samples are stored in isolated buckets separate from account identifiers where feasible.
No system is perfectly secure. We follow industry-standard safeguards and disclose material incidents in accordance with applicable law.
5. Retention
Raw voice samples: retained only as long as needed to compute your session's HRV and coherence signals, then deleted or de-identified.
Derived HRV metrics and reflections: retained for the life of your account so you can see progress over time. You can delete individual sessions or your full account at any time from in-app Settings.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including under GDPR and CCPA), you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent for optional processing.
To exercise these rights, use the in-app Settings → Privacy controls or email privacy@iamresonance.ai.
7. Children
The service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
8. Third-Party Services
We use vetted infrastructure providers for hosting, authentication, and analytics. These providers act as data processors under contract and are prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.
9. Not Medical Advice
I AM Resonance is a wellness technology. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a licensed professional.
10. Changes to This Policy
We will update this page when practices change and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated in-app.
