Rejection
The fear of being unwanted shapes decisions long before rejection actually occurs.
Belonging is a physiological need, not a preference. The nervous system treats social exclusion as a genuine threat, which is why the fear of rejection can override otherwise clear judgment.
Ruach separates the fear from the forecast. Rejection is survivable and often informative; the anticipation of it is what quietly runs the decision. Naming that out loud usually restores some room to choose.

Scripture
Quoted verbatim (King James Version, public domain). The notes beneath each passage are Ruach's educational commentary, not Scripture.
The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.
Ruach context: a proverb contrasting two sources of security — human approval and trust in God.
Ruach application: the image is a trap, not a sin list. Approval-seeking narrows your options until you feel you have none.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
Ruach context: a psalm about being fully known by God, written as personal address rather than doctrine.
Ruach application: if worth is given rather than earned, a disappointed person is uncomfortable but not dangerous.
Ruach studies
Each study moves through state, Scripture, reflection, regulation, and response.

If you need more than a lesson
